Fake News is becoming a growing problem in our society. Citizens are now not sure which and what news sites to trust. To prove our point, Social Media has become our main source of news online with over 2.4 billion. Almost 64.5% receive breaking news from Facebook, Twitter, You-tube, Snapchat, and Instagram instead of traditional media. The fake story "WikiLeaks confirms Hillary Clinton sells weapons to ISIS" was a big story that was proved to be fake. This is a prime example that fake news exists. But it's not just politics, it can be celebrities, weather, science, and fake discoveries. It is important to be aware as it can have effects on your personal beliefs and opinions, and change the way you think about certain topics, to opinions that might be more biased.
