Tips on spotting fake news

Fake news can look like real news here are some tips on spotting fake news.

Go to websites to ask the pros and check if what you are reading is fake.

Look at the link or URL. Some websites are able to track when you were on their site and gather personal information about you.

Check the source. Some people have a reputation for being true and some people have the reputation for being fake.

Some articles are really obvious and some are the opposite. Guess if this is real or fake. 'Donald trump shoots dog for barking at his door.'

If there are speling erros lots of ALL CAPS or dramatic punctuation!?!?!?!?! If there is then it is probably fake.

Check the time the photo was taken they could have been using and old photo and twisting it around to make fake articles.

Check the about us page if there isn't one then it might be fake. If there is a link click on it and see if it brings you to something totally unrelated like 'Click this link to go to our video' and it brings you to a clock shop, then it's probably fake.
